ICASO Urges Uganda’s President Museveni to Veto Brutal Anti-homosexuality Bill
Toronto, 27 April 2023 – The International Council of AIDS Service Organizations (ICASO) is deeply alarmed by the Ugandan Parliament’s passage of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2023. This bill poses grave threats to the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI) individuals and the human rights of all Ugandans. We urgently call upon President Yoweri Museveni to veto this harmful and discriminatory legislation.
